Eurogames 2023 Bern – Dancesport Competition

We are working with the European Same Sex Dance Association (ESSDA) to have our Dancesport Tournament sanctioned as the official ESSDA European Championships 2023. It will be judged according to their rules.
The Dancesport categories are open and senior Standard, Latin and Showdance. For male/nonbinary couples and female/nonbinary couples, the Standard and Latin competitions will be held as separate Open (+18) or Senior competitions. There will also be a combined Latin and Standard ranking.
During an initial qualification round the couples will be classified A, B, C, or D. We still ask you to provide your classification during registration so that we have a general idea how many participants from each level are attending.
To compete as a Senior couple, the combined age of both partners must be at least 90 whereas the younger partner must be at least 40 years old on the day of the competition.
