Competetive Edge Workshop & Gala Ball, UK
Malcolm Hill, Kai Lillebo and Out4Dance will be hosting another very special afternoon of seminars and practical workshops for same sex dancers on the competitive circuit. The programme covers all aspects of techique for both ballroom and latin discplines with the opportunity to mix ‘n’ match your workshops depending on your personal preferences. Both Malcolm & Kai will support the workshop programme in addition to our main guests.
We are delighted to announce that we will be joined by two very special Seminar & Workshop Leaders who are a key part of the day. We welcome Kristian Vellejus (Denmark) and Christine Lamprecht (Germany).
Kristian Vellejus – WDC adjudicator since 2008 and regularly an Adjudicator in the European Same Sex circuit. He has twice won the Danish Professional Championships in Latin American dance and has also represented Denmark at European and World Championships between 2007-2011. Kristian enjoys being part of the Same Sex circuit and also coaches couples who compete within these competitions.
Christine Laprecht – started ballet dancing at the age of 7 and became more involved in ballroom dancing later in life. Christine has been dancing Standard and Latin for over 20 years, and together with her husband danced S Class in Standard Adults I & II and continued to dance as Seniors until just 4 years ago when she retired from actively competing. She has been coaching for many years in Germany, supporting the next generation of ballroom dancers. She has an A Licence for judging and regularly adjudicates on the Same Sex Dance Circuit throughout Europe.
The day will finish with an Evening Gala Ball (Black Tie or Dress to Impress) where you can share your best moves with all your friends in a great winter social!
